Project info

The Renal Services Centre will be a purpose-built facility designed to meet the growing demand for hemodialysis services across the Fraser Health region. As one of three regional hubs supporting patients, the new centre will play a key role in improving the experience for renal patients and their families.

Located as a stand-alone, two-storey building on the Surrey Memorial Hospital campus, the centre is expected to increase access to life-sustaining renal (kidney) care by boosting dialysis capacity by 55%.

Our team is responsible for delivering a full electrical and technology scope, including electrical distribution, lighting, fire alarm, structured cabling, access control, nurse call system, and public address/audio-visual systems.

We are also implementing advanced construction technologies and workflows to enhance project coordination and efficiency. Tools such as PPS, Prefab, Trimble, and Stratus are being used to streamline planning and fabrication processes. Notably, field installers are working directly from the 3D model using tablets, eliminating the need for traditional 2D drawings.
