Habourview Volkswagen in Nanaimo, BC is a family-owned car dealership in operation for over 35 years. To evolve and refine their operations as a more sustainable business, they decided to go forward with a major expansion to their facility in 2017. 

Their new Volkswagen dealership involved significant green initiatives, so they brought us in to provide electrical construction on the project. We supplied and installed 282 grid-tied Photovoltaic Solar Panels on the new dealership roof. All panels are 72-cell, 320 watt panels with 80.64 kW peak. 

The project, completed early and on budget for the customer, supplies up to 80% of Volkswagen’s total electrical demand per year.
