We’re proud recipients of the 2025 SP&T News’ Integrator of the Year — a national award that celebrates Canadian technology integrators who demonstrate technical excellence, deliver high-quality results, support their communities, and foster thriving workplace cultures.
This marks our third win as Integrator of the Year, following previous honours in 2016 for our work at the Port of Vancouver and in 2017 for integration for our North Island Hospital projects.
For 2025, the award evaluation adopted a more holistic approach, looking beyond project performance to include criteria such as staff recruitment and retention, company culture, and community-driven initiatives. This broader lens allowed us to showcase our full capabilities as technology integrators, including recent work on the Mills Memorial Hospital Replacement Project (Ksyen Regional Hospital) and the Abbotsford Hospital Nurse Call Upgrade — while also highlighting our internal initiatives that position Houle as a leader in the physical security space.
Importantly, this recognition also reflects our people-first culture, which fosters a workplace built on trust, respect, and opportunity.
At Houle, we place a high value on the experience gained in the field and actively seek to leverage that through internal recruitment initiatives. These efforts support individuals transitioning from the tools into field leadership roles or more office-based positions.
