Building a More Inclusive Construction Industry

At Houle, we believe that a diverse workforce is essential to building a stronger, more innovative construction industry. This recognition reflects our ongoing efforts to create an environment where people feel valued, respected, and empowered to succeed—whether on job sites, in our offices, or in the communities we serve.

We are committed to fostering equity and inclusion across every stage of the employee experience. From recruitment to onboarding and career development, our goal is to ensure all individuals have access to meaningful opportunities in the skilled trades.

Why Diversity Matters in the Skilled Trades

Diversity is more than a priority—it’s a strength. By welcoming a wide range of perspectives and experiences, we can:

  • Promote safer and more inclusive worksites
  • Drive innovation and problem-solving
  • Deliver stronger outcomes for our clients
  • Better reflect and support the communities where we work

This award reinforces the value of these efforts and motivates us to continue advancing equity across our industry.

Recognizing Our People

This achievement belongs to our people. Every member of the Houle team plays a role in creating a workplace culture that supports inclusion, collaboration, and respect.

From mentoring apprentices to supporting inclusive job site practices and engaging with communities, our employees are helping shape a more accessible and welcoming future for the next generation of skilled trades professionals.
