Myriad – Heart of Burquitlam is a 50-storey, 404,882 sq. ft. mixed-use tower featuring 468 one-, two-, and three-bedroom homes, along with residential amenity spaces and vibrant commercial areas. Located just steps from the Bettie Allard YMCA and the Burquitlam SkyTrain station, Myriad stands as a central landmark for Coquitlam and its surrounding community.

This project marked a milestone for Houle as our tallest residential build to date. Our teams delivered comprehensive electrical and technology solutions for the entire building, including electrical distribution, lighting, fire alarm systems, security infrastructure, and structured cabling.

Project highlights include the installation of a 3500/4667 KVA main transformer, an emergency generator, large feeder pulls up to 750 Kcm from parking level one to the level 51 electrical room, and electrical infrastructure for 468 EV charging stations. In total, we installed over 12,400 light fixtures, 240,000 feet of conduit, and 770,000 feet of wire and cable.
