Project info

1st and Clark, a 10-storey, multipurpose building, will provide 97 affordable rental housing units, a specialized health centre offering on-site and outpatient withdrawal management and sobering services, and 20 transitional beds for clients who have completed treatment. BC Housing, Vancouver Coastal Health, and the City of Vancouver will each have a presence within the completed building, allowing easier access to their services for residents and the larger community.

The project is being delivered through an Integrated Project Delivery method (IPD), with Houle participating in the design of the electrical and technology scopes during the pre-construction phase. Now in the construction phase, Houle will be delivering the electrical and technology solutions for this project.

Our electrical scope includes emergency generators, Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS), lighting and lighting controls. Our technology solutions include structured cabling, access control, video surveillance, and nurse call.
