For more than two decades, the BC Technology Industry Association (BCTIA) has helped tech companies in British Columbia grow. As a not-for-profit association, it has a membership base of over 2,100 companies.
With new offices located in the QLT office building in Vancouver, BC, BCTIA was looking to have the latest surveillance and access control technology installed in their office and education centre. Houle’s Security team achieved this by installing a new access control manager (ACM) and access control centre (ACC). This video surveillance and access control platform included the use of open-architecture door controllers, ACM web browser based access control system, and ACC video surveillance recorders. Camera surveillance in the facility included several IP PoE cameras as well as BC’s first installation of an Avigilon 29MP surveillance camera. Houle completed this retrofit project on time, all while the BCTIA assumed normal operations.
