Receive all the benefits of a locally managed system without the responsibility, hassle, and cost of maintaining equipment. Utilizing the latest technology and “Cloud” based services, Houle can manage your access control system and remove the necessity of having to maintain and update server hardware and software. You can eliminate the need for servers and workstations, licensing, and software updates.
We provide all software updates on a Canadian-hosted server that eliminates the guesswork. By leveraging the benefits of a 24/7 professionally hosted or fully managed access control solution, we can help you reduce your costs and hassles and provide you services such as remote credential administration and door access schedule management.
Fully Managed Solutions
Houle’s managed access control solutions means that we will host and manage your database, server applications, and hardware infrastructure. While you have the ability to perform day to day operations from a secure web client, we will manage all ongoing functionality and needs of the account and perform all requested changes and operation, including:
- card database management
- programming of user cards, access levels, schedules, reports, holidays, and tenant lists
- live monitoring of after-hours access, personnel tracking, system openings and closings, door forced open, and door held open
With Houle’s hosted access control solutions, we host your database, server applications, and hardware infrastructure, as well as provide the initial set-up, while you administer the services from either a secure web client or on-site workstation. This frees you from maintaining hardware, while giving you the flexibility to administer your own account.
Remote Gate Control
Restrict access to your facility… remotely from any location. Houle offers solutions to enable you to open, close, and lock your gates remotely from a single location, monitor gate status, schedule gate lock times, and more. Through two-way voice communication, you can authorize who obtains access into your facility’s gates. Using the latest technology, Houle can help you track who, when, and where someone enters and leaves the property. You can set alerts so you receive text and/or email messages when the gate is opened after-hours. Whether you are looking for stand-alone remote gate control or full system integration with gate security, access control, and surveillance systems, our team is available to provide ongoing day-to-day support.
Remote Video Monitoring
With the Houle Operation Centre’s 24-hour video monitoring offerings, you can decrease or even eliminate the costs associated with hiring security guards to patrol your facilities. Ready to respond whenever an intrusion or attempted break-in occurs, our trained operators can respond to an intrusion immediately.
With video verified security alarms, our systems can automatically capture video of an incident and send video of the event or events to our operations centre where it can be immediately analyzed and responded to. In addition to the benefits of quicker police response to a crime in progress, false alarms can be reduced or prevented and manual video patrols of your facility can be scheduled and customized to your needs.
Our solutions also include voice-down functionality where, in response to detected events, our operators can directly inform trespassers they are being monitored and advise them to leave the premises. The use of voice-down functionality gives a virtual on-site presence even though our operator can be miles away. As a leading integrated systems provider, we can install and service your video surveillance system in addition to providing 24/7 monitoring of your facility.
Houle’s service agreements have been designed with negotiable flexibility with regards to:
- frequency of preventative maintenance visits
- system service
- support hours call-out response times
- emergency service and repair coverage
- replacement parts coverage
- software services coverage
For compliance tracking, metrics are collected to show response times.
Our Service Agreements contain two components: Service Maintenance Agreements (SMA) and Service Level Agreements (SLA). You can enroll in one or both of these services. A SMA consists of preventative maintenance that follows manufacturers’ recommended maintenance standards. These scheduled maintenance visits ensure that your critical systems are monitored with periodic checks and tests, resulting in increased operational efficiency.
A SLA delivers specific support services (telephone, remote, and on-site support) with specified support levels and response times. With 24/7/365 telephone and email availability, we are your dedicated support network.
