Houle Electric Wins VRCA Award for LEED Platinum Project

Houle Electric took home a Silver Award at the VRCA’s most recent Awards of Excellence.

Houle has been instrumental in helping the well-known Dockside Green Development achieve its vision for sustainability. The team from Houle’s Automated Controls Divsion contributed to over half of the LEED points award in the first phase of the project.

Team UCAN2 Takes the Podium at the Beijing Olympics!

Notwithstanding the strong winds and rough seas, John McRoberts and Stacie Louttit won a Bronze medal for Canada at the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games.

The team achieved 20 points overall, just one point away from Australia (Silver), with USA cinching Gold.
Team UCAN2 sailors have now qualified to be on the Canadian Sailing Team. This brings a level of coaching and financial support from the Canadian Yachting Association (CYA) and Sports Canada.

Houle Electric Wins Double Gold at 20th Annual Construction Awards!

Houle Electric took home top prizes in both electrical categories at the VRCA’s 20th Annual Awards of Excellence.

The Abbotsford Regional General Hospital and Cancer Centre | P3 won Gold in the Over $2M Category, and Nanaimo Regional General Hospital – Perinatal Building won in the Up to $2M Category.

Houle was recognized for providing innovative, cost saving solutions and tremendous value add to the design process.
