Manager Dennis Carlow and the
200+ employees in the Lower
Mainland support many community
initiatives including the United
Way as well as sponsorship of
a Paralympic Sailing Team, which
enabled them to purchase a specialized
craft.
Dennis
Carlow - Branch Manager
Originally
a foreman and superintendent
with Houle Electric in Victoria,
Dennis Carlow is the Burnaby
Branch Manager for Houle. Serving
over 23 years with Houle, Dennis
became Branch Manager in 1996
and Company Vice President in
1999. Dennis is responsible
for operations in Lower Mainland
- the company’s largest
market - as well as special
projects in other BC cities
including Kamloops and Kelowna.
Dennis has played a key role
in significant projects in the
lower mainland including refurbishment
of the Lions Gate Bridge and
the Abbotsford Hospital Private/Public
Partnership (“P3”)
project. In his role as Vice
President, Dennis also leads
the company’s group of
Division Managers, a group highly
recognized in the industry.
With vast experience in project
management, Dennis holds an
inter-provincial electrical
ticket and took his formal business
training at British Columbia
Institute for Technology (BCIT).
He is past President and past
Treasurer of the Electrical
Contractors Association, Vancouver
Chapter.
